Plugin info needed

hi all

I am having problems with using a plugin from an HTML page for the
following versions of NS.

NS 4.72 / WIN 2k
NS 4.61 / WIN 98
NS 4.51 / WIN NT
NS 4.72 / WIN NT

The plugin doesn't work ( or NS crashes ) when using an EMBED tag
to display the plugin on the html page.

But the plugin works ( or partially works ) when i use javascript to
embed
the plugin on the page. ( using document.write() ).

Can anyone please give some info or pointers to as why this should make
a
difference.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Need more detail on this one in order to help. What is the plugin, etc.?
