Hi all!

I have two computers in different locations, they are more than 550 km
apart. On BOTH computers I have TWO operating systems running, namely
Windows and SuSE Linux. What I really missed so far with only ONE
computer was the inability to share the (Netscape) news, mail, address
book and bookmarks between Windows AND Linux. I read about Windows and
Linux having different summary files, so I could use symlinks to point
them at the Windows summary files. But then I read, if I set up a
symbolic link (having the same name as the Linux summary files) to point
at the Windows summary files, then Netscape (on Linux) overwrites the
symlinks on exit... Is that true?

I searched the newsgroups, but I couldn't really get all the information
I need. The most important thing to be solved is how to share the
Netscape files between different operating systems. I don't want to use
Outlook, because it would add another layer (beside the fact I don't
WANT to use it... ;-) ).

Can anyone assist me in setting up a configuration so I can manage 1
mail-news-address_book-bookmarks-account with 4 operating systems on 2
computers???

What I need is some kind of step by step procedure, but don't detail too
much (click here click there). Please note that I'm learning Linux, so
the Linux stuff can be a little more detailed...

Thanks for your help!

Karsten
