Hello. I'm new to this newsgroup so i don't know if this question is
in the right place.
I'm developing an application using Netscape Directory Server 4.0
using 2 servers (a producer and a consumer).
The producer is behind a firewall to protect from erroneous
writings and the consumer (read only) is free for access.
So the questions.
1. Is it possible this kind of configuration (can i replicate
a producer throw a firewall using ssl?)
2. The replication how is done? During the replication process
can be entries to be changed not consistent? (old entries
mixed with new ones). And if so there's a way to do a replication
that keeps the 2 servers consistent always? (The consumer
shows old data until replication process is over or something
similar)
