iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise Edition 6.0 Public Beta
iPlanet is pleased to announce the availability of the iPlanet Web
Server (iWS), Enterprise Edition 6.0 Beta.
We invite and encourage you to participate in our Public Beta program,
if you are a:
o Provider of web hosting
o Application service provider (ASP)
o Financial customer interested in performance
o Non-SSL customers interested in raw web server performance
o Developer using Java Servlets and JSPs to create
web applications
o Anyone else interersted in using a high performance
scalable web server
The Public Beta program provides an opportunity to explore the new and
improved features of iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise Edition 6.0.

This Beta release is not intended for production use, and is not covered
by production warranties. While the Beta product does not have direct
technical support from iPlanet, you can provide feedback via the
newsgroup news://secnews.netscape.com/iplanet.server.iwsbeta if you
encounter any problems. Please include product versions, platform used
and steps to duplicate any bugs you report.
We encourage our Public beta customers to carefully note their
experiences with iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise Edition 6.0 and its
featrures during the six-week beta period, and to send all comments to
