Plugin 1.4 on Solaris with Netscape 6.01 not working :(

Hello,
far beit for me to comment on the state of the OJI,
but I think you want JDK 1.31 and not 1.4.
1.4 still uses the DSA/Sha1 security database
built into Internet Explorer on IE in
Windows and I suspect this cert type will not be valid
for NS6 as it requires a RSA certificate. Then again I don't
have a Sun to test this 100%.
I would try JRE/Plugin 1.31 but there is this caveat to it.
Once you install 1.31, 1.4 can malfunction and
I have found I actually have to delete and reinstall
the whole JDK/JVM to fix the issue. I am waiting
for the final release of 1.4 before I switch form DSA.
DSA works with JDK14 BTW but not in NS 6
