I've written an html/javaScript to load an applet and handle resize.
It works fine with IE5.0, but Netscape 4.76 seems to ignore the resize and
reloads the applet when I do a resize. Even worse when Netscape reloads the
applets it does not send the applet any of starting parameters.

Is there any way to override this Netscape behavior?

Thanks,
Bob Blum

There are two ways:
1. Use html frames and a custom layout manager to do the resizing. I've seen
this work using code posted on the web.
2. Pop up a Java Frame and work inside this.
