Once the JRE is downloaded, the default JVM is NOT the correct
JVM/directory.
Thus the JRE path cannot be resolved on startup and the browser crashes
with a
"can't load jvm.dll" error.
I think the Plugin shouuld set the correct JVM path/resolve the Java
Default on install.
The solution is to set the Java Runtime Enviroment with
the Java Plugin Tool to the correct value and NOT "Use Java Plugin
default."
I think this is too much to ask the average user BTW.
Other than that I am happy to say I had 4 applets working properly
last night in 4 browsers NS4.79,NS6.2,Mozilla, and IE, and all at the
same time :)
