Palm ssl?

Hi all,

I am currently writing a Palm application (as the client) for which I
need to make a secure connection to my backend (the server) which is an
Apache Web server with Tomcat jsp engine. My backend is a JSP/Servlet
architecture.

I have never done anything wrt SSL etc. Could anybody please point me to
a direction where I can get more information on how I can accomplish
this. I would really appreciate any and all help because it is very
critical and urgent.
