VM in iPlanet 4.1

Hi All,

I would like to know the reason why iPlanet Enterprise Web server is
using the classic virtual machine (using the default JRE as well as the
using a different JRE at install time). Does it have any effect if I
change the configuration files to use the hotspot instead of classic VM.
And I found that using the default classic VM on a linux box causes
problems. It's not even starting the server.

Any help is appreciated,
