Netscape 6 export

I need to export mail from NS6 to Mozilla Thunderbird. What is the trick?

I tried everything. I tried going through Eudora first, NS7, even Opera.
*Some* of the Inbox copies, but the majority does not. Based on the dates,
my guess is the old NS 4.x messages are being copied and the NS 6 messages
are not. This was upgraded awhile back.

I even tried installing NS6 on the new machine and copying over the mail
files. Even in that scenario, most messages get dropped like above.

Any help appreciated.
