I'm having the same problem, in fact it crashed the first time I tried
to write this. The problem is much worse on my WINXP Pro SP1 P4 2.8G
system than my WINXP Pro non SP1 Celeron 1G system.

I had a lot of problems with Netscape 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 7.01 and 7.02 crashing
frequently for no apparent reason. However, the new version Netscape 7.1
that just came out (I have been running it for a couple of weeks now) is
much better. Haven't had any crashes. You must, uninstall the older 6 or 7
(7.01 or 7.02)versions, however, and restart the computer before installing
the new 7.1 version. (Don't forget to disable any Antivirus software or
other software running at start up before installation). You don't need to
worry about any profiles, address books, etc. when uninstalling the old
Netscape versions, they are saved deep in the bowels of Windows and will be
available in the new version. Earlier versions, such as 4.75, 4.79, etc, are
not affected and can be left in tact on your hard drive.
