I have Windows 98SE. Netscape 4.78, Pentium III, 256 RAM. I also have
Outlook Express 6.0 on my Desk Top to enable me to get in to the Zone to
play crib. I have un-installed and re-installed Netscape 4.78 but still
get the errors. I have run a 'Thorough' Scan with no 'Disc Errors'
reported.
I still get the errors. I began to record them a day ago.
They include:
EGNSENGINE.DLL @ 017f:13003faa
PR3240.DLL@ 017f 20002562
RPCRT4 @ 017f:7fb9181c
017f:004511794 --While Reading an ad for POP UP prevention
WININET.DLL @ 017f:7022a37f -- When returning to my desk top after
finishing the long 'Thorough' Scan of my C File.
And the most common error which also freezes up the computer appears
when I return to my desktop after having visited my E Mail in Yahoo: 5
times so far.
Kernal 32 DLL @ 017f:bff9db61
The common thread thru out is < 017f >.
Any ideas out there? Thanks

I get the following message when I close "My Computer" after transferring
files from floppy to HD.
"Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at

How the problem was solved?
It was the PDM.DLL file that was causing the problem. He changed it to
PDM.OLD and the IPF disappeared.
