I would like to know if it's possible to transfer an active call from one queue to another without losing the original caller uri information? When a call is transferred from the first queue to the second queue the first queue's outbound number now becomes the orig caller uri in the second queue. I was also wondering if a call transfer from one queue to another should result in 2 active calls? This is the result that I'm seeing while transferring.

This is the api call I'm using:

object=call&action=xfer&callid=call.orig_callid&uid=queue@domain&destination=queueinboundnumber

It shows the outbound number for queue@domain.

Thanks,

Alex Gritton

Alex,

Hard to say for sure without looking into your exact case. i would expect it to work as your expecting and possibly its getting translated in dial translations after the transfer. I think your API setup is actually good here, but i would like to see a trace. Can you open a ticket though our support help desk (help.netsapiens.com) with a trace and ill work with you there.

Chris
