For the Event subscription, you give the post_url which SNAPi sends the call to when the subscription is triggered. Are there any debugging logs in the NMS UI that allows you view the response nms gets from the post_url? Also, does the POST from the event subscription support any type of authentication?

Cameron,

Right now it will not queue up the data if the server is offline. Would suggest that on any startup or restart conditions you pull a full data set of the info your interested in from the API. There is no authentication currently. Would suggest if your worried about it lock it to the IP of the server before accepting any data. If there are any errors on the post they may get logged in /var/log/nsnode.log.

Hey Chris,

Is there anyway to manipulate the post to contain an authorization header? I would like to pass a session ID if that is at all possible?

We don't have too many fields right now in the subscription capable of storing any auth details. Are you thinking just basic auth or do you want to have some type of special header? We could look to include the auth token in the http post headers if that would help you validate?

Not able to provision e911, caller id, caller name, area code fields through API

object=subscriber&action=create&callid_name=TEST&area_code=407&callid_nmbr=4074177578&do_not_disturb=yes&callid_emgr=4074177578&first_name=Cameron&pwd=1234&forward=yes&forward_busy=yes&last_name=Besaw&domain=mix.nms.mixnetworks.net&fna_prov=yes&fwd_not_reg=yes&user=210&simultaneous_ring=yes&admin_vmail=Yes&vmail=Yes

Can you please verify the API names are correct. The ones listed in the documentation don't work, and the field names when you export a user do not work either. Please advise. It does create everything else.

Please verify you have the latest API. If you still have issues afterwards please open a ticket.
