Hey John,

I really would like to play today but I am not a part of a team yet. Are there any pickup slots available? Also, what tool do folks use for comms: Discord, Teamspeak, ??

 

A bit about myself, I used to play quite a bit but that was 20 yrs ago so I expect to be rusty. With that said, I’ve brushed up on my Netrek strategies and I think I can do an all right job holding my own.

 

Hopefully you folks have room for an old timer/ newbie to fill up a slot and try to contribute.

Hi Steve, 

Thanks for your interest.  Hope you enjoyed the game yesterday, if you were able to attend.  

To your question about voice chat, there is no organized standard, but rather whatever the dropin team is able and willing to do.  It's a good idea to have a few options prepared in advance.  Personally I was in a room with 3 other players, so didn't need voice chat for most of that session.
