INTRODUCING Advanced APPLIED CBT Level 2 Workshop at Mumbai!
Beginner therapists make around 30 mistakes in a session and expert therapists make around 20.
Cognitive therapy is easy to understand, but when it comes to practical application, even expert therapists face difficulties. Therapists can minimize mistakes and use CBT more effectively if they understand what problems to anticipate and how to handle them. Applying CBT to various disorders and conditions needs knowledge, skills and practice.
This workshop aims at introducing the participants to practical application of Cognitive therapy to a variety of psychiatric disorders and conditions. Therapists will learn what kind of problems they can encounter during therapy and how to handle them.

During this program the participants will successfully learn about
Using CBT for Depression
Using CBT for personality disorders
CBT for Anxiety disorders and OCD
CBT for children and adolescents
Case conceptualization in these disorders and conditions.
Overcoming obstacles in therapy.
Besides these topics, the participants will undergo practical skills training and Supervised therapy. They are required to bring one 20 minute tape of their therapy with a client to the class which will be supervised.
Eligibility: 1. Having completed Level 1 CBT training anywhere in India or abroad with Dr. Shishir Palsapure or anyone else with similar course content as in Level 1 CBT training. Please be ready to produce the certificate of attendance of a basic level CBT training.
2. MA/MSc in Psychology, MSW, MD in Psychiatry, DPM. The participant must be a mental health professional.
Undergraduate Psychology students (BA) are not eligible for Level 2, but are eligible for Level 1. To know more about BASIC LEVEL 1 Workshop, Click here

On and after May 1st till May 10th- Rs. 6500.
