Participate in International Research and Exchange Collaborations Advancing Drug Abuse Understanding

Embassies and Binational Fulbright Commissions in eligible low- and middle-income countries are now accepting applications for the 2012 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship provides a 10-month, midcareer, nondegree fellowship for internationally based drug abuse professionals through mentored academic study at a U.S. university.

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship is provided through a partnership of the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the U.S. State Department.

 bullet Check with the embassy or Fulbright Commission in eligible countries for application materials, which will be made available starting March 1, 2012.
 bullet Contact the U.S. embassy or Fulbright Commission to confirm application deadlines.
 bullet Educational requirements include an earned doctoral degree in medicine; public health; or biomedical, behavioral, or social science. Candidates with a master's degree and substantial professional or research experience also will be considered.
