One suggestion: on the front page make the whole image clickable, not
just the text, saves me hunting the hotspot!

Hi Pierre
At first glance, it looks great, except that the intensity of the color
is overwhelming. I'm especially bothered by a couple of the purples on
the home page. (Purple is one of my favorite colors, so it hurts to have
to say that.<g>)
In particular, I'm ok with the lavender on yellow under "FACADE", but
the more intense light purple on orange right beside it is too much.
That photo steals focus from nearly everything else, which is hard to do
considering the fight for supremacy going on among the images. Even more
uncomfortable are the swatches of fuchsia and bright pinky red on the
mauve image on the right. That combination is painful, and it doesn't
seem to go with the rest of the image.
Color aside, I love the collage and the way the graphic elements
interact... except that I don't know where to look first. The company
logo is a strong image, but I have to work to find it on the page.
Although the horizontal lines on the house in the "Renover" image point
to it, almost everything on the page leads your eye away from it. I tend
to wind up down in the lovely bathroom with nowhere to go.
I do like the way you picked up colors in the logo cartoon for use in
other parts of the collage and in the site as a whole.
Great things about the site are that it's bright and joyful, and it
clearly communicates the quality of the work that B&R performs. Plus, I
very much like a number of the photos and the Plan du Site drawing.
OTOH, the home page is not the only place I feel bombarded. There are
way too many wonderful, bright, creative elements, and too many
different styles, most of which conflict with the style of the logo
cartoon. I would try to simplify and pare down. Right now, it's as if
all three guys are talking at once, loudly trying to sell me on their
services.
On balance, I'm torn. I'm very attracted to their work as represented by
parts of the site, and they seem like nice people to work with. At the
same time, there is no possibility I would let them anywhere near my
home (especially not with a paint brush <g>).
HTH,
Allison
