First Site. Questions Comments & Help!

Okay. I just made my first site. I use Net Objects Fusion Essentials
so I can try and figure out how to do everything before moving on to a
more complicated program. The site is

http://adkins-software.com

The only problem that I am having is that Net Objects Fusion Essentials
always tells me that it cannot connect to FTP://adkins-software.com. I
have the correct user name and password (not posting those here for
obvious reasons), and I own the domain so there is no directory. I
don't know what else to check or what else to try. I got the site
online through a simple FTP Client, but would much rather just do a
remote publish from Essentials. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Comments on the site would be equally as appreciated. Please keep in
mind this is my first attempt so constructive criticism is more helpful.

Where you input the FTP details, under domain try entering
adkins-software.com without the ftp:// (fusion adds that bit for itself).

As for the site itself, it would look way more professional without the
godaddy ads; if it's a commercial site (ie if you're looking to sell
software) a free site doesn't inspire buyer confidence.
