HELP! pages names getting renamed on publishing

Hi,
Have a serious problem :
when importing, we would import a page like "index2.html", which has a certain
page layout . Netobjects would correctly show the page name as "Overview.html"
(picked from the banner name etc) in the page layout properties or if one
viewed the page icon, but AFTER publishing, netobjects would change the actual
page name to index21.html (for example). We end up getting tons of pages like
index21.html, index22.html, index23.html instead of overview.html,
about_us.html, services.html etc
