upgrade dilemma

couple of years and my computer (running xp home) is on its last legs. My new
computer will be running vista and I'm not sure about the following:
Does nof 8 run in vista?
If not which version of nof should I upgrade to? As I understand it, nof 11 has
a css driven layout, rather than table based, is there upward compatibility?
Another factor is I used coolmaps v8 goldmine quite heavily for targetted
rollovers and iframes, which I know doesn't work with version 9.
Does nof 9 run in vista, in which case I could upgrade to goldmine 9? The
coolmaps website doesn't seem to support more recent versions of nof.
Rebuilding the site from scratch is out of the question, and so is downgrading
my new computer to XP pro.
Can anyone advise me of the best way to go?

Yes.

You can export a site from 8 as a template and make a new site in 11.
Fusion 11 has a XHTML option, not CSS-P, but good.

The Goldmine for 9 components work pretty well in Fusion 9 and above.
All of the ones I've tried work in 11. (haven't tried them all)

I'd get the new Goldmine package and Fusion 11. You may need to find a free
version of Fusion 9 somewhere and install it to be able to install Goldmine.
Once installed, the folder can be copied to the Fusion 11 install.

I have a free copy of nof 9 that was covermounted on a pc mag a while ago.
When my new computer arrives I'll upgrade to nof 11 and see what happens...
