Help with structure

I have a web site with multiple pages (child) under the home page.

On the home page I have a listing on the left side of those child pages.

How do I rearrange the listing?

I have tried "moving" the child pages around but it seems as if I can
only move a child to the top or bottom, not within the child pages.

For example the listing might be in order as A, B, C, D ,E F,G from to
bottom (or left to right in the site view). How do I re-arrange them to
a B, A,D,C,F,E,G order?

I appreciate the help.
