Photo Gallery Question

Hi

I have 2 separate photo galleries on a website; each with a different
name - each with 20+ pics behind them. When I publish an incremental
change to my site - and select only changed assets it seems to mess up
the galleries. In that when the user is selecting a thumbnail to view
it may show the picture they expect or it may show a picture from the
other gallery. The only way I have found to correct this is constantly
republishing the entire site - which takes forever. Anyone else have
this issue? Or have a way to correct it? Or am I doing something wrong
in the usage of the gallery?
