Ticker Tape Applet

Hi

I have a site that has Ticker Tape defined - on some machines it works well,
on others the applet seems to load fine but nothing is ever displayed. Both
machines have the same jre versions (1.5) installed and from looking at the
java consoles on both machines the applet appears to be loading properly.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this applet does not seem to execute
properly on some systems?

As an update - If I add only 2 messages to the Ticker Tape it works in both
machines - but as soon as I add a 3rd message of a certain length the 2nd
browser fails to render the Ticker Tape images properly - this not
displaying any message. There seems to be an issue with the overall length
of the total message string... has anyone else seen this? or is it a
feature I missed in the docs?
