Fusion 7.5 locking-up

I created a new site. Everything was working fine. Just a few days ago, it
began to lockup, taking 20-30 seconds to un-lock. CPU maxes to 100% and I
can't do anything. This happens so often that I'm unable to update my site.
I've installed all the updates.

I hope someone has a simple solution.

Does this happen with every site you've built with this installation of
NOF, or just this new one?

Have you used any components on one or more pages of this site? If so,
which ones?

If other sites work but this one does not - what is different about this
new one?

I have built other sites, but this is the only one I have published.

Now that you mentioned it, this began after I placed a rotating ad banner.
It worked so poorly that I removed it.

The other sites seem to work fine. It's only this new site. I should clarify
that it doesn't always "lock-up", but the Properties, etc., windows blank
out and it simple does not respond for some time. It keeps doing this.

So, it sounds like it's something with this site, perhaps related to the
rotating banner component. HELP!!!

Verify and delete unused assets:

Run the re-optimize (site view > Tools > Re-optimize)

Export the project to template and import it under a different name

NO.
Did all, but it's still doing it. Twice now Windows has had to stop the
program. It seems to lock-up only when working on the Home/Index page. Any
other suggestions?
