Any ideas?
Thx

Also, disable check for updates when Nof publishes, because if the Nof
server is down, your publishing will seem to take forever

Hi Eric,
What happens when:
1> You delete the contents of your site's /local publish and /preview
folders, and then
2> Do a local publish?
Does you site work fine from the local publish folder?
If so, it will also work fine if you upload all the contents of your
site's local publish folder to your web host with a good 3rd-party FTP
tool...

Fusion's Publish feature is mildly to fully brain-damaged with many web
site host servers.
The best process to follow in every version of Fusion I have used has
been something like this:
Publish Local and test.
If the locally published site is OK, then use a 3rd-party FTP tool like
WSFTP to upload the contents of your local publish folder to your web
host site root directory.
Please let us know if you still need more help here...

I was told off for doing that
Hi Dan,
If you want to make sure that WebSitePros developers hear this from you,
a slightly more polite (Mixed-case) email to sup...@netobjects.com will
do the trick better than venting in the newsgroup :-).
As somebody who made his first web pages with Notepad and WSFTP on a
Windows 3.1 box, I refuse to give up the granularity of control a manual
FTP client gives me over my sites. XP's version of Notepad is still
handy once in a while, but you'll have to pry WSFTP out of my dead cold
fingers <grin>.
I have used NOF's publish feature (other than locally) exactly 20 times
fewer than I have fingers and toes. Nothing personal, but I'll have to
agree to disagree with you that the remote publish feature is a high
priority item.
As a matter of fact, I have suggested that the remote publish feature be
removed, and that users be provided with a bundled copy of a more
reliable standalone FTP tool.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess...

Yes it works perfect when I publich local, then upload via wsftple.
Whe using the publish feature I can upload 10-15 page site no problem, but
larger ones 40+ get the corupt banners and menu buttons and pictures in the
photo albums.
Now that I know that I can use WSFTP or similar programs it's a little
nicer, I like the control. :)
Thanks for the input.
