Looking for a definitive answer, as to whether the ASP wizard should work in
NOF 4 or 5, and if it should, how to fix it. I've seen lots other posts in
the NOF groups reporting the same problem as I have (I downloaded the ASP
connector etc & installed ok - but when I go to the site view & select
Tools, Wizards, then select Microsoft ASP Connector, it's as if it's trying
to start, a window flashes up, then disappears - that's it !) I note that in
spite of repeated posts NOF never seem to have responded to this issue! Does
anyone know the answer, or should I just forget about the wizard?

I'm just about to start learning how to use the ASP components with NOF5,
and will be referring to the PDF manuals and the Workbench pages. Any other
good links to helpful info would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Gareth

PS

Even though the Wizard does not work, the components work fine...

The Wizard works on some machines and not on others. It did not work for me but after a
crash, I reformatted the drive and reinstall NOF it worked fine... There must have been a
conflict with other software.

I've had the same problem with the component I downloaded from the NOF
website. In desperation I went back to my original NOF 4 installation disk
and installed the ASP wizard into my NOF4 / Components / ASP directory. I
then copied the /NOF4/Components/ASP directory into the /NOF5/Components
directory and the thing worked.
Hope this helps
Regards,
Scott
