Netnewswire doesn't import google alerts. For some unexplainable misty
reason this is a new policy af Netnewswire. This devalueates the
program.

That's why I can recommend the OSX App GRUML

It effordlessly imports all your Google alerts and other Feeds.

This has been a problem for a long time, but I believe we're promised it will be fixed in the next version. Can someone from BlackPixel confirm?
Gruml looks interesting, but does it support SmartLists? That's been my reason for staying with NNW, that and the belief that version 4 will fix the Google alerts problem.

Sorry, but there is no status update to share regarding Google Alerts.

I just moved from using gruml to NNW - gruml the last few months has become unstable, so i wanted to try another mac news reader, and with a bit of searching found this one was at the top of the free news readers...

This one problem however appears to as yet be unresolved?
The most recent posts i have found on this are from just over a year ago!
Is support for google alerts feeds going to be added anytime soon?

Thanks!
Khaled.
