Have you checked your settings and told it *not* to synch with Google Reader?

Once you do it will start downloading to your local machine direct from each feed rather than via Google Reader.

Thought it was a password issue ... NOPE - the reply to "Not" sync with Google Reader switch fixed it for me. THANKS!

I got some password issues when I liberated it from Google Reader.

Presumably when it was downloading stuff from Google it was either simply not telling me about the errors (some blogs I follow had seemingly gone password protected since I subscribed). I just stopped those ones from synching at all.
