You know. I never really said anything bad about this app. Ive used
NetNewsWire for years. I just waited and waited for an update. Now
its been months. I will now start to look for another RSS app. This is
ridiculous. It does not take this long to re-code an app. Unless your
spending 1 hour per week. Even at that pace I would imagine it would
have been finished 2 months ago.

Thanks for the false hope. Moving on now.

It's quite incredible, isn't it?

But just wait! The update, when finally released - about 10 years from
now - will be inconceivably good!

NNW/iPhone is a shining example for "The perfect is the enemy of the
good".

What I'm doing is make it so all three versions of NetNewsWire (Mac, iPad, and iPhone) are basically just one app. This has nothing to do with making it perfect -- I'm not sitting in my attic constantly tweaking colors or something weird like that.

Once they are (under-the-hood) basically one app instead of three -- and that one app is better than any of the three current apps -- then I'll be able to update way more quickly. But this first step is huge, and it's taking time. Nobody could possibly be more eager than I am for this to be done.
