App opens to white screen, then crashes after 20 seconds. How can I
fix this?

Hi Gary,

Sorry about the delay. On which device and OS version are you experiencing this problem? Settings -> General -> About will tell you your OS version, and also your amount of free disk space, which could be relevant if it's zero.

Had you used NNW successfully in the past on this device, or was this your first launch?

If you've used the app in the past, we'd like to know if it's writing anything informative to the system console before it dies. If you're feeling adventurous, you could install the iPhone Configuration Utility, which will display the console history of an attached device. Once connected, recreate the crash, and copy out any console messages relevant to NNW.

The iPhone Configuration Utility is available here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/dl851 (Mac, 10.6 or later)
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl926 (Windows)

As a last resort, since the app is synchronizes against Google Reader, you could try deleting it from the device (tap and hold the app icon, then tap the X in the corner when the icons start jiggling) and re-download it from the app store. You will not be billed a second time, as long as you download it using the same Apple ID that you used originally.

Thanks,

-nat

Hi Gary,

Running 4.3.3. 7GB available.

Using successfully for many months now.

Thanks, that's helpful. The console output indicates that there should be crash logs synced to your desktop. Relative to your home directory, they'll be in:

~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/

At that path, you should find a folder named for your phone, containing the crash logs. Please sync your device and then send me all the logs with today's date in their filenames, which will hopefully shed some light on the cause. They can come directly to me, as they won't have much value to the list.
