What's wrong with this picture? http://homepage.mac.com/lthompson.22/misc/nnw.png

There are five feeds in the folder. I have read the first two, tapping
on "mark all as read", which brings me back to the top-level listing
but those feeds still show a number for unread items. I can tap the
syncing arrow at bottom right, but those erroneous unread feed count
badges do not go away until I relaunch NNW. If I tap on the feed
again, the items and the "mark all as read" are grayed out. If I open
Google Reader in my browser on my Mac, it shows an accurate listing of
read/unread.

As you can see, the unread count in the folder line is correct,
showing 6 unread items, which matches up with the bottom 3 feeds in
the folder, which are indeed unread.

I see this error *all the time*, dating back to the beginning of the
switchover to Google last year.

This is the paid version of NetNewsWire, fully updated, running on a
first-gen iPod touch, updated to latest 3.x OS.

Why do these inaccuracies persist?

Why it's taking a while to get these bugs fixed is a fairly long
story, which I won't go into again -- but rest assured that all
versions of NetNewsWire are in very active development.

This is my first time looking for any kind of support for NetNewsWire on the iPhone, but I have had this same problem for a long time, and through many versions, and still have the problem today with the latest version. My "solution" has been to shut down the application in the multi-tasking window and then relaunch it, which will eventually update already read items if done one or twice, but it's annoying to have to do. Any progress on this?
