Dear all,

We are pleased to announce an in-person course on Agent-based and Individual-based Modelling using NetLogo, taking place in Berlin (FU University), 24–28 August.

Venue: Freie Universität Berlin - Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy – Biology/Zoology
Berlin-Dahlem, Germany

This 30-hour intensive course introduces the principles and practice of agent-based and individual-based modelling (ABMs/IBMs), with strong emphasis on hands-on work in NetLogo. Participants will learn how to design, implement, and analyze models relevant to their own research or teaching.


Participants should bring their own laptop with NetLogo 7.0.0 installed (Windows/macOS/Linux). Prior programming experience is not required.

This course is suitable for PhD students, postdocs, researchers, and instructors in natural and social sciences.
