NetLdn 76 will be on ***Thursday*** 10th of Sep 2026, with arrival from
1830hrs and talks starting promptly at 1900hrs at Finch’s in Finsbury Square:

(If you are wondering what happened to NetLdn 75, we didn't have any
talks, but a nice evening regardless)

If you can make it, please do. We've been lucky enough to not have a
min bar spend, but we do need to prove to our new hosts that we're

Talk 1: Qubes, Productivity and maybe the TSA?

Oli Stockman (Fram Broadband)

A very quick demonstration of the Qubes OS, which brings
virtualization to the desktop in a novel manner, and might be part of
a solution for the puzzle of road warrior and/or productivity software
while maintaining separation for TSA guidelines

Talk 2: Pocket OTDRs – Why every network engineer should have one

Tim Preston (LINX)

This is a quick talk briefly discussing LINX’s experience of moving
from having a couple of big, expensive OTDRs to giving all network
engineers their own cheap pocket OTDR. Explaining how these are
getting used on site and why everyone should have one.
I’ll also bring along my own pocket OTDR and some fibre for a bit of a hands on.
