Hi - We are planning to use NETLab Toolkit to prototype a few ideas here at our design studio. We've run into an error while getting everything set up.

We're installing on a Mac v10.6.8, running flash C5 v, have installed Firmata, and am using a Lylipad Arduino. All seems to work except we are getting a socket error. Here's the error:

Anyone run into this error? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi Jennifer,

I assume the project works when you launch from within Flash, but not when you run the SWF outside of Flash?

This is due to Flash Player's security settings. You can fix this by going to this page on the computer you are using:

More info on this is on this page, scroll down and flip open the section called: Using the Flash SWF in Full Screen mode

Let me know if that doesn't fix it.

Best,

.phil
