AS3 code to activate Flash buttons through Digital In Widget?

Hi,

I want to use physical push button switches connected to the digital inputs of an Arduino to do the same work as some buttons inside of a Flash interface. I am using the Digital In widget set to output a value of 0 (not pressed) and 1 (pressed). Is there a AS3 code (something like widget_name.value) for the widgets that can let me take the output value of the Digital in widget to launch a Flash event?
