Riata Great Room RESERVED for June 1

All,

I have reserved the Great Room at Riata Apartments for June 1st (Saturday). I gave them 2 checks - one for $175 which is the fees ad the other one for $175 as well which is the deposit.

This room is reserved for us from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. I have the reservation form and contract with me which I will hand over to Sumina on Tuesday.

Few things to note (couple of them may not exactly fit what we have discussed so far?):

1. The sale of alcohol is PROHIBITED in this location.
   
2. Maximum number of guests (according to fire code) is 85 for this room.
   
3. Parking (for over 40 guests) could be a problem here. We just need to keep this in mind so that we can talk to Riata office earlier and get their suggestions regarding parking. There are parking at the companies inside Riata (across the street from the leasing center where the Great Room is) which we could use as well for this event. 
4. They will provide 30 folding chairs, 4 folding tables (6' x 2.5'), HDTV with surround sound, blue ray DVD player, XM radio, iPod docking station, refrigerator/freezer, oven, ice maker, trash bags, sweeping and cleaning supplies. 
5. Smoking is allowed on back porch ONLY.
   
6. We CANNOT use the pool area for this event. 
7. NO confetti is allowed. 
8. We CANNOT move furniture out of the room but we can move it around inside the room (we may want to check on this more with them because I am thinking we may need to move some furniture to outside the room temporarily to fit everyone).
9. DJs and additional sound systems are NOT allowed (is this going to be a problem for us because I know we talked about may be getting a DJ)?
   
10. No signage or balloons are allowed on Riata grounds (but they can provide us with a map to enclose in our invites). 
11. Cancellation policy: Cancellations are subject to loss of deposit if cancelled within 72 hours of beginning of function. If we cancel before the 72 hour deadline a refund will be issues within 30 days.
