Dr. Axel Fuchs (Quanergy): Dr. Fuchs is a technology executive with 30 years of experience in managing business and innovation for Daimler, Motorola, as well as smaller high-tech companies. He pioneered the first Internet connected car and received the Smithsonian Award for Excellence. Dr. Fuchs holds more than 12 system level patents and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany.
Akhtar Jameel: Akhtar has long and deep experience in the intersection between connectivity, automation and the internet in the auto industry. For many years Akhtar served as the President and CEO of the Mercedes Benz Research and Development group in North America. He developed the world’s first prototype of an internet connected car. He was the founder and CTO of Wheelz, Inc. – a peer to peer car sharing online marketplace and service. Akhtar is currently at Conti-X, the new mobility divisison of Continental AG.
