National Drive Electric Week is coming to Palo Alto - Here’s how YOU can participate!

I am writing to invite you to two important upcoming events:

Acterra's 3^rd annual National Drive Electric Week Ride & Drive event will take place on Sunday, September 16 from 1 to 4 pm at Acterra, and we need many, many volunteers to make it run smoothly. Here's how you can participate:

1) If you own an electric vehicle, please consider providing demo rides/drives or showcasing your vehicle at the event. Sign up here to help!

2) Help with logistical activities such as set-up, check-in, matching people with cars, etc. Please sign up here - we need you!

3) If you do not yet own an EV but are considering one, sign up here to take a FREE test drive!

I would also like to invite you to a special celebration taking place immediately following the ride & drive event. On September 16, Acterra will officially rebrand our EV program in honor of Karl Knapp, a longtime Stanford professor, EV advocate, renewable energy expert, and Earth champion. At 4 pm on the 16th, we will hold a reception to celebrate our new name, give out Karl “swag,” and talk about our plans for the coming year. I hope you will join us on this festive occasion! Please RSVP by Sep 12 if you plan to attend.
