I had one of my internet providers connected to a red (wan) in dhcp.
Sometimes, I found the connection disabled, traffic not routed through
the provider. Accessing the isp router web interface, the connection
was shown as up, pinging an ip through the connections worked, so it
was nethserver that incorrectly marked the connection as down.

Today, I noticed that the ip I used to check connection availability
in the web interface was not listed in system routes, so I dug a bit
and discovered that the route is evaluated correctly only if the
connection is static.

The code in /etc/e-smith/events/actions/interface-config-write uses
the ipaddr prop, that, in case of dhcp, has no value. The end result
is that route-ethX is not created and the route not added.

I worked around the problem assigning statically the ip I was given by
the router via dhcp.

This should be fixed now. See: http://dev.nethserver.org/issues/2827
