In this notebook, we look at UNEB results for PLE, UCE and UACE. We provide some analysis to try and getter a better understanding of the results. The results are listed by school and show the performace in terms of how many students passed in a particular division.

Ndekeire hails from impoverished Luuka District. Her son was one of the 257 at Nile High School Kiyunga whose results were withheld by UNEB as the examinations body released 2017 UCE results on Wednesday. The fate of the affected candidates remains uncertain.

Like Ndekeire, Wilberforce Kasozi is still trying to overcome nightmares, for almost similar but different reasons. And he will be cursing UNEB too. The head teacher of Nyendo Mixed Secondary School in Masaka Municipality on Wednesday fled his office after receiving information that UCE results for his students had been withheld, media reports said.

Kampala, Uganda THE INDEPENDENT Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) chairperson Prof Mary Okwakol has commenced the release of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results, by stating their concern about the performance in Biology.

The results of the 2022 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) - or O'Level - exams were released Thursday at State House, Nakasero by the education minister and First Lady, Janet Museveni.

National exams body UNEB chairperson Mary Okwakol handed over the results to the minister for release.

Here are the key statistics from the exams, as presented in the release statement by UNEB executive secretary Dan Odongo (pictured below):

According to the programme, the examinations body had scheduled to release the said results before the end of June starting with Primary Leaving Examinations, but now the release will take a little longer, though the actual date is yet to be specified.

For instance, according to the school calendar, the 2021 academic year is scheduled to begin on September 20, 2021. Musumba asserts that by this time, results and other processes like school selection should have been completed to ensure that learners begin off their studies without any delay.

I know the lockdown has led to the posponing of our results. But urge our president and the ministry of eduction and sports to work together to ensure early release of our 2020 results in time. Thank you

It wil be better for uneb to release the results earlier to avoid school dropouts, lose of hope, faculty determination inrelation to financial arrangement which wil affect about 35% of the students edu.

uneb is always at its perfection, so brothers and sisters in the query we need patience though engulfed with anxiety to see the results, life plays an important role stay safe and avoid covid-19, you will see your results with happiness

This is unfaire what the president is doing. How can the release of results relate with COVID? Our girls are destroyed due to this prolonged lockdown. Where are we heading? Atleast stop other things but let schools reopen to safe guard our girls

The best way for uneb is to release, uce&uace exams. This is very paramount for each and every candidate to know his/her performance so dat he/she finds the way for survival. Last but not least, it gives hope and courage to our young girls who might have done well in their exams to abstain from early marriages.THX UNEB FOR SUPPORTING UGANDANS!!! Nicholas Loibok LOKWANG

Thanks to Hon. Bitamazire for the work done on Education of Uganda because we used to suffer alot in getting our exams and most especialy those who were in villages because we could receive results after two weeks from the time of their release since Head Teachers took along time to pick exams due to lack of time and money to go to kampala.please atleast send us some details on how schools and Districts performed.God Almighty bless u all Ugandans. I remain JULIUS KANDARI KASIGAZI from Rukungiri Uganda

thanks a lot but we are just facing many problem especially when we want to know results, what should we do because sms for us is a problem that means it can not pass through, please help us as early as you can

If you are interested in the results for the past years, you can visit an online database that contains the details of UNEB results by school, and by District, but it does not contain results for individual candidates in a bid not to compromise the privacy of candidates.

The modification by polymers and nanomaterials can significantly improve different properties of asphalt. However, during the service life, the oxidation affects the constituents of modified asphalt and subsequently results in deviation from the desired properties. One of the important properties affected due to oxidation is the adhesive properties of modified asphalt. In this study, the adhesive properties of asphalt modified with the polymers (styrene-butadiene-styrene and styrene-butadiene) and carbon nanotubes were investigated. Asphalt samples were aged in the laboratory by simulating the field conditions, and then adhesive properties were evaluated by different tips of atomic force microscopy (AFM) following the existing functional group in asphalt. Finally, a predictive modelling and machine learning technique called the classification and regression tree (CART) was used to predict the adhesive properties of modified asphalt subjected to oxidation. The parameters that affect the behaviour of asphalt have been used to predict the results using the CART. The results obtained from CART analysis were also compared with those from the regression model. It was observed that the CART analysis shows more explanatory relationships between different variables. The model can predict accurately the adhesive properties of modified asphalts considering the real field oxidation and chemistry of asphalt at a nanoscale.

Since the form of the free surface in open-channel flow influences the flow field and other quantities of interest, the volume of fluid computational technique is being pursued to capture it accurately. Since this technique is an inherently transient solution scheme, even when only the equilibrium state is of interest, each case is studied with a time-dependent solution scheme requiring significant computational resources. The results to date indicate that a steady solution can generally be reached within a five-minute simulation time; however, the wall-clock time required for computations for that five-minute simulation can be significantly longer depending on the specified time-step size and number of processors used.
