Hello Everyone,

Here is John Shaver's abstract for this weeks NetDUG talk.

MS Sync Framework Presentation
The Microsoft Sync Framework is designed to keep any number of databases synchronized with each other.  The architecture supports multiple data stores and multiple data-transport protocols.  I will present a project that synchronizes a client LocalDB instance with a remote SQL Server 2008 database via webservice.  I will also demonstrate how the Sync framework supports handling collisions and various other synchronization options.  Automated testing with Sync as well as developing with multiple environments will also be discussed.

Bio:
John graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Boise State.  Has worked as a software developer for three years and currently call him self a software/database developer at Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission.
