The online job description is our generic PM job posting, here are a few items I added which are not mentioned and are specific to the candidate we are looking for.
The PM will report to the project management office (PMO) but will be assigned as the primary PM for all the software development projects.
The PM will work closely with a team of software developers who specialize in writing EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) Line of Business applications in a wide range of technologies.
The PM will be expected to have a firm understating of modern Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) processes.
The software development organization follows an Agile/SCRUM methodology. Experience with Agile and SCRUM is highly recommended.
Has a strong understanding of formalized Software Quality Assurance and Change Management processes.
Past experience in software development is a big plus as well (not necessarily as a developer).
Most important, enjoys working with software developers, software testers, and IT product owners. Fully understands there is no I in the word TEAM. We work in a team oriented environment.
