Please join us this Thursday October 17^th at 6:30pm in the Microsoft building for the following presentations.

Paul Shaffer will be tackling about working with .Net and the free SQL Server 2012 LocalDB. If you want to know more about this new local file based SQL database Paul will demo what he has done for one of his clients. If you have never worked with SQL LocalDB it is definitely worth a look. It is free, easy to deploy and bundle with your applications, and works great for disconnected clients.

Scott Nichols will give an introduction primer on setting up a Windows 8 modern UI covering basic page layouts and navigation. Will show deployment to a Windows 8 Desktop, Surface Pro and Surface RT.
