Function: Website maintenance and development

Reporting To: Marketing Manager and linking in to the Webmaster

Summary:

Responsible for the development of the Netcom Corporate Website
and assisting in managing its transition into a portal site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance of corporate Web site by:

Updating key areas (All portal aspects, Jobs Pages, What's New, Sitemap)

Ensuring the integrity of all information (link checking, etc)

Liaising with Technical Support to ensure all technical data is up to date
and accurate

Managing Search Engine submissions for Business clients

In terms of developing the portal, negotiation with partner companies will
be necessary

Technical Skills:

A minimum of HTML4 skills and experience of using a graphics package such
as PhotoShop or Fireworks.

Flash skills would be desirable, along with JavaScript and Perl knowledge.

Personal Skills:

Reliable, team player who can work well as part of a team but also on an
individual basis.

Good communications skills

Creative but not overly indulgent, appreciating the parameters of
commercial and corporate demands.

Proactively developing the site in line with the corporate image and
departmental requirements.

Can apply consistency and methodology to work.

Has a keen eye for design and creativity.
