PC/LAN Specialist (DB Administration and Application Development)

Research and development, using appropriate tools on a variety of
Intranet/Internet projects, will keep you at the leading edge of
activities both internally and in liaison with 3rd parties. Your
responsibilities will span strategy, applications, purchasing and
implementation, as well as the provision of technical advice and support
at all levels.

Technical knowledge required includes:

Substantial PC/LAN expertise, with understanding of Intranet/Internet

Microsoft NT Network and Windows; 95/NT and Windows 3.11 clients

Relational databases SQL and Access; programming; hardware maintenance
for Servers and PCs

Basic UNIX.

Additional skills should include:

Multiple project management experience

Problem solving in support of customers at all levels

Rapid learning ability.

Salary dependent upon experience but up to £30K
