Reports to: Account Team Manager
Main Purpose of Role
Roles in this group are responsible for managing the relationship between
Netcom and existing customers. Current and emerging business needs will be
developed and Netcom solutions created to meet customers' strategic aims.
Role holders will be expected to achieve sales targets, which reflect the
size and scope of the accounts managed. Ongoing relationships with
customers are important and role holders will be expected to maintain
regular contact with accounts, both to gather relevant information about
account status and needs and to communicate about Netcom and its
offerings.
Main Responsibilities
To develop, grow and maintain revenue and product range within named
accounts ensuring Netcom and customer strategic aims are maximised.
To lead and negotiate individual tenders, establish and agree appropriate
contractual arrangements and ensure that Netcom and customer objectives
are met
To develop and maintain a database of account related information, on
Goldmine, which can be used to inform managers of sales activity and
account status.
To develop and maintain appropriate internal relationships ensuring that
relevant information is shared and that needed input is gained.
To provide feedback to relevant colleagues and manager on competitor
activity, market conditions, emerging business needs and trends.
To take responsibility for ensuring that your account base is kept
informed of new products, price changes and promotions.
To attend meetings as and when required.
