REPORTING TO: Project Leader

Essential Skills:

Able to code in C and perl
Experience on Solaris and Linux
Unix programming skills (shell scripting, IPC and network programming
essential)
Relational database experience, preferably using MySQL
Source code control concepts
Experience in working to functional specification
Experience in documenting work in a clear and concise fashion
Able to communicate problems to Project Leader
Past experience of working as part of a project team
Accountable for work
Able to test others code
Able to work on own and as part of a team
Must be able to focus on deadlines and achieve them

It is preferred that the candidate understands all the technology
involved in the ISP business, radius servers, Cisco routers, Solaris,
TCP/IP etc.

Desirable:

Any Web (CGI) programming experience would be very useful.
The NIX application will be accessed via a web server so anyone who
understands the concepts would have an advantage.
Any experience of working on a billing system.
