INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVES

REPORTING TO: Internal Sales Manager

Member of In-house Sales Team responsible for building and extending
business services client base according to business objectives.

To achieve this the job holder must have or be able to quickly assimilate
a technical understanding of the business services portfolio together with
the ability to ascertain customer needs against our product range and
promote the correct product.

This roll is targeted and commission will be calculated according to
achievement of targets.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Achieving sales targets, according to a specified set of objectives i.e.
promoting and selling a product or service, or servicing reseller/customer
accounts.

To fulfil and adhere to the aims and objectives outlined in the
sales/marketing plan.

To achieve a targeted number of calls per day as specified. The content
and purpose of the calls will vary according to the project.

In addition you will also expected to:-

Maintain accurate client contact details on Goldmine or other Company
Databases

Fulfilment management - sending trial packs, corporate information etc to
Business Customers on request.

Carrying out daily administrative duties, i.e. maintain information
systems, print and despatch customer quotations.

Undertake any additional adhoc duties/projects to assist NETCOM in meeting
its objectives.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all products sold through the
sales desk

Present a professional, responsive and friendly image to Netcom customers
and internal staff

To work with the team to ensure constant coverage of telephones at the
sales desk during normal working hours

To demonstrate a measurable month on month improvement in call to quote to
order ratio

To demonstrate a monthly improvement for at least the first 6 months in
monthly revenue bookings.

Or any other adhoc task.

Person Specification:-

Must have successful telephone sales track record. (Whilst experience in
selling Internet related products is not essential it is an advantage.)

Must be a good team member Must be self motivated

Must be organised

Must have an excellent telephone manner

Must be able to maintain high activity levels

Must have a technology related background.
