Many Internet users have expressed concern over possible censorship,
particularly in light of the Compuserve decision to remove much
of the alt.* newsgroups from their service. NETCOM believes that free
speech is an essential part of the exchange of information on the
Internet. We provide a Usenet feed with access to over 20,000
newsgroups.
Use the FindNews feature to find the name of a (possible) newsgroup.
FindNews is located at:
http://www.netcom.com/bin/findnews
FindNews searches for newsgroups based on keyword. To permanently
subscribe to a newsgroup with NETCOMplete:
1. Run the NETCOMplete newsreader (click on the newspaper icon).
2. Select Group | Add Newsgroup from the main menubar (or press
CTRL-A).
3. Enter the name of the group in the dialogue box. The group will
will now appear in your list of subscribed newsgroups.

Date of cancellation (this will be at the end of the month)
Reason for cancellation
Cancellation requests are processed by our Customer Service Department,
using a monthly billing cycle. A request for cancellation must be
received by the 25th of the month in order to be processed before
the next billing cycle.

hours are 6am to 6pm PST, Monday through Friday.
